Fuel Recommendations

For lawn equipment, we recommend using Non-Ethanol Fuel with a stabilizer. This is especially important for equipment that sits between uses like tillers and snow blowers. You can find the nearest gas station to you that offers Non-Ethanol fuel by visiting

Pure-Gas. If buying normal fuel during regular use, please use at least the mid-grade (87), but high-grade (91) is better. It is also important that any fuel you add to your machine is less than 30 days old.

If preparing for storage, you do not have to run the tank dry. Just make sure that there is a small amount of Non-Ethanol fuel with stabilizer and that the unit has been run so the Non-Ethanol can incorporate throughout the fuel system. Make sure to leave room for fresh fuel to be added upon next use. Using this practice should give you the best chance to reduce fuel system issues.

*This is not a cure all. Even Non-Ethanol fuel is still caustic and can cause issues when sitting for long periods of time.

Cottonwood

When mowing around Cottonwood fluff, please make sure to check you air filter regularly and blow out the unit's cooling fins. If they get packed issues can develop, especially over time, with overheating and/or the unit not running properly.
